5-7 YEARS VISUAL JOURNALING - July Children's Holiday Workshop
Visual journaling is a powerful and creative way for children to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences using a mix of drawing, painting, writing, and collage. It’s like a diary — but with art! This process helps children express feelings they might not yet have words for, build emotional awareness, and find calm through creativity.
In this workshop, children will be gently guided through mindfulness, breathwork, and expressive art activities to help them understand emotions like anger, fear, and gratitude. They'll learn simple tools to identify and release big feelings, build emotional vocabulary, and connect with themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
By the end of the session, each child will leave with their own personal visual journal, gratitude stone, calming techniques they can use at home or school, and a deeper sense of confidence in expressing how they feel visually— all while having fun and making meaningful connections with others!
