COMING HOME - An Inner Child Workshop

Repairing the Self Through Love, Presence & Re-Integration
This workshop invites you to gently accompany your inner child, exploring the process of restoring what has been separated. Through a blend of guided visualisations, somatic awareness and art therapy, you will witness the parts of yourself that adapted to survive, meet them with compassion and allow the adult Self to return with presence and care. Over three stages - Fragmentation, Reunion, and Integration — you will map your inner child, engage in creative dialogue between your adult and younger selves and create expressive artworks that embody wholeness, safety and liberation. The workshop emphasises that healing is not about reliving trauma or fixing the past, but about reclaiming connection, softening emotional charge, and offering your inner child steadiness, gentleness, and protection — leaving you with a felt sense of completeness and inner world restoration.

You will receive:

  • A deeper felt connection to your inner child, held in safety and presence.
  • Tools and practices to recognise and honour your internal parts without judgment.
  • Creative art-based expression to witness, dialogue with and integrate younger parts of yourself.
  • A guided pathway to restore internal safety and allow your adult Self to accompany your child self.
  • A tangible canvas artwork symbolising your inner child’s liberation and wholeness to take home.
  • A sense of completion, grounding, and emotional release, leaving you more embodied and connected.

HEALING TIME: Releasing the Past from the Body

Healing Time: Releasing the Past from the Body is a somatically led art therapy workshop rooted in the understanding that emotional charge, not the events themselves, is what keeps the past alive. While events end, unprocessed emotional charge can remain stored in the nervous system, causing the past to be experienced as if it is still happening now. Rather than analysing stories or re-entering trauma, this workshop invites participants into presence — listening to the body as sensations are witnessed without judgment, allowing the nervous system to update to the present moment. Through somatic awareness, the unblending of protective parts and expressive art-making that prioritises sensation over narrative, emotional energy is given space to move and release. Memory and meaning remain, but without emotional charge — creating freedom, integration and a felt sense of safety. Participants will also create a larger, embodied artwork that captures this release and presence, serving as a powerful takeaway to continue this work beyond the session. This is a workshop that gently allows you to realise the emotional memories that shape identity and reaction.

You will receive:

  • A deeper awareness of where unprocessed emotions live in the body and how they influence present reactions.
  • Tools to observe sensations without judgment, allowing emotional energy to release naturally.
  • Experience of unblending protective parts and creating space for the adult Self to lead from presence.
  • Embodied practices to bring the body fully into the present, freeing it from the weight of past emotional patterns.
  • A large, expressive artwork that captures their felt sense of release and presence — a tangible takeaway to continue the practice at home.
  • A sense of integration, freedom, and safety, knowing the body did exactly what it needed to survive and can now soften.

LIVING IN FLOW: Anchoring into Presence

A somatic art therapy workshop on fluid identity and conscious choice. Who am I now, if I’m no longer organised around the past? This workshop invites you into that space gently — not to define a new version of yourself, but to experience identity as something fluid, responsive and alive. Through somatic awareness, guided visualisations and expressive art-making, participants are supported to stabilise presence as their internal anchor while allowing thoughts, emotions, and self-expression to move freely. Drawing on ideas of energy in motion and contemporary understandings of state-based identity, this workshop offers a grounded way to live from the present without fixing, forcing, or holding on — cultivating trust in change itself.

You will receive:

  • A lived understanding that identity is fluid, and that change does not require losing safety or grounding.
  • The experience of presence as an internal anchor, even as emotions, thoughts and parts move and shift.
  • Somatic tools to stay regulated and responsive while internal states evolve, rather than bracing against change.
  • Visualisation practices to notice and relate to parts without becoming fixed or identified with them.
  • A multi-layered tracing artwork, built gradually across the session, embodying movement, permeability, and continuity — a powerful visual reminder that the self is not static.
  • A felt sense of trust in movement and adaptability, leaving with less need to define and more capacity to meet the moment as it unfolds.
