What method of printing is used for the printed artworks?
For the printed artworks to have maximum longevity and quality, all artworks are printed using a method called giclee printing. “Giclee” is a French word meaning “to squirt out.” During this type of printing the printer squirts or sprays the ink when printing the artwork. How long will it take for a custom artwork to be completed?
The entire process of creating a custom artwork from concept sketches to having the artwork in your hands will take up to 12 weeks. If the custom artwork is a series of more than one artwork then it will take longer than 12 weeks and will depend on how many artworks need to be created. There may be times where unexpected delays beyond my control will occur. I will endeavour to let you know as early as possible should this be the case. A detailed timeline that includes payment dates and proofing requirements will be sent to you when we begin the process of creating your custom piece.
Can I make changes to the custom artwork?
Yes, you can make changes as outlined in your Custom Artwork Contract.
Can I provide input into the design of a custom artwork?
Yes, I will work with you to come up with a theme and colour palette for your artwork. This is done in when you contact me to begin the process of creating a custom piece.
Will I receive a digital copy of the artwork?
No. To maintain the integrity of the artwork when printed, all artworks are printed using the one method of printing. Additionally, all artworks are protected by Australian Copyright Law and cannot be digitally distributed or re-printed by external parties.
Can I photocopy my artwork?
No. When you engage in our Services, you own the work, not the copyright to it. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without written permission from us. Except as permitted by the copyright law applicable to you, you may not reproduce or communicate any of the content on this website, including files downloadable from this website, without permission from us. How long will it take to receive an existing print?
An existing print should take 4 weeks, depending on your location. Interstate and international deliveries may take longer. Unexpected delays in postage are beyond our control.
